First of all, three new animated leaders for VPRO Tegenlicht is ready, the episodes will air on Ned 2 the 16th, 19th, 23rd and 30th of November. I'm also happy to announce that two of my earlier projects have been selected for Holland Animation Film Festival this year! The commerical "One For All" and the lego stop-motion "Energie In Overvloed".

Did a few animated drawings for the Beagle leader. The Beagle project will reconstruct Darwin’s 5-year long voyage on the HMS Beagle in the course of one year, and make an attempt to assess where the world stands today in light of Darwin’s evolution theory. The documentary "Another Perfect World" I did animation and design work for just premiered on Dutch national TV. It will have its proper film premiere in September at Nederlands Film Festival 2009, Utrecht.

Updates! New clips online: an animated cut-out commercial, a Lego stop-motion leader and several feature film animations. The commercial for One For All is also online on their website and is going international with subtitles in German, French, Italian and Spanish.

The Dutch feature that I worked on (the animation sequences), "How Do I Survive Myself?" received the Golden Film Award on July 10 to commemorate its achieving of 100.000 visitors, after two weeks in Dutch cinemas.

The Dutch feature film that I recently finished some animation for will have its national cinema release on June 25th.
Can't post any clips or stills from my work on this yet, but check out the official website for some more info. The film contains about 8 minutes of animation and motion graphics which was produced by Submarine and directed by Mascha Halberstad, while I did the animation, motion graphics and design in collaboration with Olaf Gremie.

The six animated leaders for VPRO's Tegenlicht 'identity' series are completed. Tune in to Nederland 2 on Mondays 20:55 - 21:50 for Tegenlicht. A clip from the animation will also be used for a 30 sec promo for Tegenlicht, airing before the 10 o'clock news for a whole week. The animations will be uploaded to my portfolio after the episodes has been aired.

"Bloot" picks up the fourth award, this time at the prestigious Annecy International Animated Film Festival! The episode "Sex" (one of the two I worked on) was selected and won the prize for "Best Educational, Scientific or Industrial Film 2007".
